Say a prayer, if you will

#1 Post by ghostjmf » Tue Jul 02, 2019 9:33 am

for my 2nd-cousin, twice-removed, Sophie Delott, 17-years-old, who was killed Friday night biking home. In the bike lane, with front-&-back lights on her bike. The drunk who killed her could apparently afford their BMW, but not a taxi ride when it counted the most.

I've never met Sophie, & now never will.

I'm so sorry Ghost. That is terrible.

The Marines were going to be training her (after the same grueling basic training as everybody else, of course) to be a medic. I would guess, though don't know, that they might have eventually sent her through medical school.
