Apparently I missed an additional standard deduction for over 65 which resulted in us getting a refund of part of our irs payment.

No kidding. We don't use an accountant anymore since our deductions are minimal (no mortgage, loans, etc), and it woulda been a wash if we had. Still I need to get with the program...

And don't forget to ask for your 50-cent senior citizen discount at the Golden Corral. (That's 50 cents, not 50 percent)

Oh, I do do a full itemized ded sheet to compare if between prop taxes, premiums, medical, charity, etc bring us close. It doesn't
