"Indispensible" at my house = any broken toy of any size or (prior) importance that I've thrown away and yet failed to completely and competently 'hide' from view.

When my cousin Jeannie was pregnant, I would visit and keep her 2-year-old Jeffrey entertained.

Wearing pots on our heads and seeing how long we could keep them on as we ran around.
was the A#1 activity.

Pots also worked for Jeff's son - except he went the Gene Krupa route.

Yes, noise. Noise is their friend.

We also have an entire snackbar concession in the couch and chair. Disinfectant wipes are my perfume. If you need chex mix or popsicle remnants I'm your gal.

It's loads of fun trying to get crayon off my white stone hearth! I just ended up putting a planter over it! I have the ever present small table and 4 chairs which has been and still is used a lot! Why do sippy cup lids disappear like socks in the washing machine?

The bigger question here is, why are you putting sippy cup lids in the washing machine?

Our disappears reappear in a cupboard or under furniture or in the closet. Unless it's the car remote that DOES get washed and occasionally dried in the laundry...

Use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the crayon marks.

LOL! Leave it to Esto to keep me grammatically correct!
I just bought new cups with lids. Let’s see how long before
the lids are missing.

Lids with leashes, that's the ticket!
