RIP Robert Evans

Former CEO of Paramount, who saved the company from going out of business in the late 1960s and whose pictures produced included The Godfather, Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, True Grit (the John Wayne version), Love Story, and Marathon Man. He was married seven times, including to Ali McGraw, star of Love Story. His autobiographical memoir, The Kid Stays in the Picture is one of the best books of its kind.
Age 89.

The Kid Stays in the Picture is a great documentary too.

He was also married to both Phyllis George and Catherine Oxenberg. At different times, I assume.
