Quick silver Camaro update

#1 Post by jaybee » Wed May 14, 2008 3:19 pm

For "any" BB's who may be interested - looks like a nine month wait from now. Available in first quarter 2009.

Good grief, when I first read this I thought you were telling us SC was going to be a new mom!! NTTATWWT

Maybe she's got her order in already. With her J! winnings she'll have no trouble buying one. I want to see a personalized license plate on it as well.

Thank you! I'm afraid to get too excited before they've started production, though, as the release date has been postponed once or twice already.

They're making Camaros out of Mercury now?

Has the EPA heard about this?

Heck, under GWB, they prolly ordered it.

I'd be shocked, too! Besides, as you well know, a new car is much, much cheaper than a new baby.

Sorry to mislead you. She still has to go to dallas and wow them. Just showing a bit of optimism. :)

I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Ellen, I will be attending an audiiton for Jeopardy! next week. Annie has been trying to coach me up.

Today I made reservations at the Bed and Biscuit for Annie and Lizbit. They will be treated to pedicures and perhaps a bubble bath while they are waiting for me to return home and lavish them with chewy sticks.

My wife made me sell my 1995 Impala last year.

I still miss it.

I am sorry for your loss. My Camaro is a '98, but I still think it's one of the best looking cars on the road. In addition, it's proven to be practical for me, and it saved my life once. I have vowed to keep it until I can trade it in for a newer version of itself.

I understand the feeling. I sold my 1990 Ford Festiva three years ago after receiving my Jeopardy! check, and even though I love my Prius, I still miss the Festiva. --Bob

It lives????? I didn't know that. I felt sure from seeing the pics that the four-wheeled version of the silvercamaro had gone to the great autolot inthe sky.

Indeed, it lives on. Both front and back windshields needed to be replaced, and it required a bit of repainting where it was scratched, but major body work wasn't necessary. Yes, it amazes me, too. When I left the car that morning in the dark, I thought it would be totaled -- and I still felt lucky.
