Just a thought

#1 Post by Rexer25 » Wed May 21, 2008 10:11 am

...but could anyone give me 101 reasons to vote for their candidate?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

She doesn't have a good record on that. The second part, I mean.

The odds are that your absence won't change who is President next year. However, there will be other positions to fill on your ballot, should you opt to go to the effort of making an informed choice.

That is true, I can vote for the other positions. Good point.

I'm just hoping Hillary decides to pull a "Lieberman"...and for those of you not familiar with CT politics, that means when the party makes a less than smart decision, the more popular candidate runs as an independent and wins in spite of the Democratic party's misguided decisions...

Why? You want McCain to be president?

Maybe she can erase some of her debt if she runs from a third party. I am sure that the Republicans would help fund her.

I really really really really really really really want to vote for McCain. But, (and you knew there was a "but") his "war" stance is a deal breaker. How can a prisoner of a war that was started with a lie want to support another war started with a lie? Now if he wanted to send every single military person in Iraq to Afghanistan, I would have no problem with that.

I could, if I had a candidate. But I don't.

I can probably give 101 reasons to not vote for any of the 3 in the forefront now.

I could do it, Rexer, but I'd lose sleep (and Shark-watching time) and not change anybody's mind.

I do agree with the positive approach. I stupidly entered into an E-mail flame battle with a guy who was going to enter a local race based on negatives, a guy who insulted me using six syllable words, some of which I didn't know. I read his stuff with the dictionary open.

I won the battle, but it was internecine conflict. We could use a person who uses six-syllable words correctly and owns a million-dollar business. As much as he hates Republicans, he won't talk to us either. Stupid.
