Teen Nabbed For Naked MySpace Photos
Cops: Boy posted explicit shots of ex-girlfriend as way of "venting"

MAY 21--Meet Alex Phillips. The Wisconsin teenager is facing felony child pornography charges for allegedly posting naked photos of his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend on his MySpace page. When contacted by police about the two images, Phillips, 17, balked at removing the pictures of the girl. Warned that he could face jail for publishing images of the minor, Phillips told an investigator, "F*** that, I am keeping them up," according to a criminal complaint filed yesterday in Lacrosse County Circuit Court.

Yeah, that's one of my rules for the kids. Don't let anyone take naked pictures of you and don't send naked pictures of yourself to anyone.

I let Maddie have a MySpace page, with the proviso that I have the right to sign onto her page. I can't believe how many people (teens) post raunchy pictures of themselves on their pages. (By raunchy I mean, posting in their underwear.)

I am not a prude, but I don't think it's appropriate.

Anyone who poses for any type of photograph should be prepared for that photograph to show up on the Internet.

There are thousands of web sites out there with people only a couple of years older than this pair doing all sorts of bizarre things, of a sexual nature and otherwise.

And the possibility of exposure of said pictures goes up exponentially the more famous the "model" ever becomes.

If the girl wasn't 16, the story wouldn't even rate a ho hum anywhere.
