Savannah, GA, criminal defense attorney best known for starting the tradition of Georgia mascot bulldogs, Uga, when he donated the first Uga to the school while a law student in the 1950s. The newest Uga (15) will make his debut this Saturday at the Bulldogs' opening game. Seiler was also the defense attorney in the Jim Williams murder trials that became the subject of the book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (he played a judge in the movie).
