Puppeteer and TV producer who, with his brother Sid, produced such children's shows as H.R. Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, and the Banana Splits. They opened a short-lived amusement park featuring their creations, The World of Sid and Marty Krofft, in Atlanta's Omni Center in the 1970s. After the amusement park folded, the property eventually became the CNN World Headquarters (which has recently moved to the Turner Studios headquarters in midtown Atlanta. Sid Krofft, 94, is still alive.
