Longtime owner of the Baltimore Orioles. He was part of a consortium that included writer Tom Clancy, Barry Levinson, and Pam Shriver, who bought the team in 1993. He had stepped away from active ownership for health reasons the last few years and his son is in the process of negotiating a sale of the team.
