(a) The Mets postponed their opener until today due to rain.
(b) I don't start that thread until the Mets have undisputed possession of first place. Since Atlanta is playing Philadelphia (assuming no more rain) and one of those teams has to win, the earliest the thread could possibly go up is tomorrow. --Bob

That's actually a little unusual for the Mets. They have the best Opening Day record in MLB, now standing at 41-22. I guess it helps when nearly a quarter of those games feature starting pitchers named Tom Seaver and Jacob deGrom. --Bob

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. I heard Houston finally won a game, but it was a pretty boring, lackluster contest from what I hear. I feel sorry for the fans that were forced to sit through that mess. I guess most people were watching Deal or No Deal Island instead.
