New movie for Spock

I saw Civil War today, and I'm going to post most of my comments in the Political Lounge. But I did want to mention one thing here. This movie supposedly starts in New York City and the main characters then take a roundabout route through western Pennsylvania before doubling back to Washington DC. However, with the exception of some establishing location shots of well-known landmarks, the entire movie was filmed here in Atlanta. They even built a replica of the White House on a set at Tyler Perry's studio. Most of the street sequences where fighting occurred were filmed in downtown Atlanta, and scenes set in New York and Washington took place only a few blocks from each other.

I love seeing movies filmed here and trying to identify exactly where each scene takes place.
