Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Sat Apr 20, 2024 8:11 am

Not a rhetorical question, but a reboot of the Jeff Foxworthy game show, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" from a few years back. This version will have regular contestants playing alongside celebrities in a format similar to the Foxworthy show, but the producers promise there will be some "exciting new twists." The show will be hosted by Travis Kelce, and 20 episodes will stream on Amazon Prime Video. No word yet on whether one of the exciting new twists will be an appearance by Taylor Swift.

"Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" had a fun premise. And a purpose for being produced. And a purpose for being watched.

This show? No. Just... no.

Total eclipse, double-brood cicadas, and now this; I agree with this guy.

Can the apocalypse really be that far away?

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
