So. Weather

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Thu May 02, 2024 4:33 pm

We had some overnite. Kinda Harvey levels of rain.

Lightening was prolific. Boomer freaks, so I laid with him in his bed, until my legs went...
During a small resurgence got him into our bed next to me.
After almost drifting off a strike just went fucking boom and it woke me up and I hoped no windows broken? There were more booms.
Anyway, our neighbor down the street had a large pine hit. Plus a leak and blew out internet, etc.

I think that was the one.

Dint want to tell him that our outside tv internet is out and they're coming to fix. Hoo baby.
Well, then

So. Last nite. Rinse and repeat. Laying on the dog bed on hard floor isn't conducive to anything good other than allaying doggie shakes. Cat pushed shit on top of me from shelves. Plus getting up from floor was thrilling. Constant thunder boomers.
Anyway, whining aside, there may be more tonite.
BUT. We aren't flooded. Lotsa bad stuff all around. Pray for them.

Officials of Harris County, where Houston is located, have ordered residents who live along the East Fork of the San Jacinto River to evacuate due to ongoing flooding and heavy rainfall. More than 9 inches of rain have fallen in the area since Thursday. The river was expected to rise to 77 feet above sea level Friday; the river is typically 45 to 50 feet above sea level.
