Atlanta -- T minus 29 days

As I stated before, I will be in ATL on the afternoon or night of June 26 and check out on the morning of June 29.
My motel room has been reserved. I got a great rate on a room that is just a couple of miles from Hartsfield-Jackson.
I've also ordered a ticket for a tour of CNN.
More than likely, most of my vacation will be spent at the shopping venues. I might as well push Bush's bribe--er, I mean tax stimulus to good use...

It actually was a bi-partisan bribe - all of Washington wants to spend money they don;t have

Part of my yet-to-arrive stimulus check will go toward bus and taxi fare to the ABC studios. I will then deduct it from next year's taxes as money spent to earn more income.

My tax advisor actually said those expenses are not tax deductible.
It's like gambling winnings, there at least you can deduct your losses, but you can't deduct meals, gas, hotel, etc, etc. I was really sad to find that out.

You can deduct all that if you are a pro.
