Mrs. Cal has two herniated cervical discs. She is seeing a Specialist this afternoon to figure out how the treatment is going to be handled. She has been in debilitating pain for more than three weeks.

She has been remarkably patient, and the calvinatorettes (especially calvinatorette I) have been very helpful around the house.

Wishing her a speedy recovery.

And hoping the pain does not interfere with her knitting!

I wish her the very best for a fast recovery!

It's wonderful that the girls have risen to the occasion to help out. (Not that I'm surprised by that, however.)

Cal --

The Boyfriend is going through something similar.

Very best for Mrs. Cal's speedy recovery. I know exactly how painful it can it.

That's a shame, Cal - neck and back problems seem to be plaguing a lot of BBs and BBBs. Prayers will be offered for Mrs. Cal.

Ugh! Thankfully, they've made tremendous strides in what they can do for this stuff. Good vibes heading your way, too!

What little experience I have in pain tells me she's going through some of the worst there is. It's breathtaking, sorta.

My hopes for a realitvely speedy recovery, and much fortitude for you and yours.

Hope your wife gets better soon. We ladies don't like anything to interfere with our crafts.

Husband went through something similar many years ago. Fixed with long surgery and it's never given him any more trouble.

I myself have some bulging/bruised lumbar disks. Had my 2nd epidural steroid injection yesterday. Is much, much better! :P

Also have bi-lateral carpel tunnel. Think I'll wait until after the first of the year and then get it fixed (when new insurance kicks in).

Orthopaedic dude recommended some physical therapy and traction along with pain management. If it gets worse, they will consider surgical options.
