Dead at 79.

No details yet.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

The single best musical performance I have seen was Bo Diddlley in the late 1980s at a small club in Chicago. He will be missed.

I heard Bo Diddley play at least 20 years ago in the bar of what then was the local Holiday Inn. He was drinking Scotch and milk, taking care of his ulcer.

Can't say I was a huge fan, but that "Bo Diddley beat" inspired an awful lot of songs.

Today, a local radio station did a 20-minute medley of songs with the Bo Diddley beat. Very cool.
