Day 3 and still going strong! Congrats and Wow! BTW, do you ever feel guilty about those you defeat? Some of the players have been really strong as well and could easily be a champion - it would be nice if there was some runner-up tourny for those who perform well against a champion to give them a second shot.

Well done, Dave! I was afraid you were running out of steam since you went quiet for such a long period during the DJ round. If I may ask about the other contestants, I'm puzzled as to how LucyAnne got on the show - she seemed too low-key and didn't "keep the game going" as auditioners are reminded over and over again during the search process. However once she got going she did very well, but she didn't seem all that animated.

WTG PD!
Your play is superb, but I'm beginning to think someone is looking out for you as well given that both your opponents wagers last night would have allowed you to win a Triple Stumper.
Still, I have a bad feeling about Sven for some reason...
But at this point, you'll always be (at the very least) a THREE-time Jeopardy champion! Awesome!!

I'm hoping PD will be the first of many BBs to do well this year!

So, the adventure continues. Last night I didn't get to watch until 9:30 because of my kids' swim meet, tonight I'll be out of town at a state-wide church meeting but will excuse myself during J! and watch in my hotel room.
Life goes on, even for the J! Champion. As it should.
The blog is updated. Enjoy.

Hope you won yesterday; unfortunately, the local station thought soccer was more important. Well, I'll watch today & find out one way or another, & maybe they'll show the bumped show on Saturday in the same time slot; they otherwise show old shows there, but they sometimes show bumped ones.
I was able to figure out why they used to bump J! for baseball, but soccer?

Dave-- I just finally took a look at your blog. Is your J! appearance now the result of the Philly auditions in May of 2006?? What group were you in? I was there in the Tuesday Noon group. I guess I didn't know you then or I certainly would have said Hi!
Now I'm getting another chance -- DC on July 29 Here's hoping we'll see lots & lots of BB's on the show in days to come.

So, did you just want to switch it up a bit and give us a scare??
You're still way too much fun to watch. I'll be tuned in again tomorrow (and tomorrow and tomorrow . . . )

Wow! I thought Kew was going to be the end of you. There was all those triple-stumpers being left on the table and I was yelling out the answers to you and you never heard me!
But I guess you wanted to try all the variations of victory: lock games, competitive come from behind games, and now a betting low from second place on triple stumper game!
Now do them again!

Only have a minute - I snuck out of the meeting I'm supposed to be in this morning to update my blog (http://pdonjeopardy.blogspot.com/). Just wanted to let those of you following the saga know.
As I wrote on the J! Message Board, believe me I know how fortunate (blessed) I was to win last night. Kew was one heck of a player, and so was Kara (if not for the unfortunate "Iwo Jima" she'd have been right in the thick of things).
Gotta run back to the boredom of the meeting.

this has been a great week to watch -- you scared me last night, but I was delighted at the outcome. Onward!

Well, drat!
This was such a fun week to watch! Congratulations on a great run, and I hope you had an absolute blast. Were you able to take a bunch of photos of you and Alex, and the Big Three?
Can't wait to read the rest of the blog.

How sad to be yesterday's news. I've been unstickied!! (I'm kidding - I was surprised this thread got stickied in the first place.)
Just wanted to let everyone who's been following that the blog is updated. http://www.pdonjeopardy.blogspot.com/

Congratulations on your great run. No doubt you can be returned to Sticky status during the Tournament of Champions. I will look forward to watching that, too!trevor_macfee wrote:How sad to be yesterday's news. I've been unstickied!! (I'm kidding - I was surprised this thread got stickied in the first place.)
