Yvonne Latimer
Gainesville, FL
County jail physician

Yvonne may be able to put MD on her license plate, but people would never believe it after seeing the car that it's attached to. She's drained her battery through her alarm system and she can't even lock her doors because they're attached to the alarm system, so she just leaves her doors unlocked while pretending to lock them. The transmission is so bad that her husband calls it "The Whiplash Machine."

$16,000
On average, what is the most abundant gas released into the atmosphere by a volcano?

A: Sulfur dioxide B: Hydrogen chloride
C: Water vapor D: Carbon monoxide

Yvonne has an idea and she's going to go with it. Sulfur dioxide, final answer.

Yvonne drops to $1,000.

Answers:
$16,000: C: Water vapor

Are they over budget or something? A question like this used to be at the $100,000 level or even higher. Definitely a WWOQ, and undervalued IMO.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I agree. This seems awfully hard for 16K. Maybe even for 100K in the good ol' primetime days.

That one would have tripped me up also. Would have felt confident enough with sulfur dioxide not to ask for any help. Though I don't think ATA would have been useful here (and might even have been totally misleading).
