Heh heh, I get to embarrass my kid tonight

He is taking a program with the Boys and Girls club, called Keystone. It is a youth leadership program, and he wants to be a junior camp leader next year, and this is one of their requirements.

Tonight they are hosting a Halloween Howl, and the youth leaders in training are the hosts. Games, food and costumes, everyone welcome.

I have a costume.

I will be attending.

I will....well, I'll just be there, that should be enough to mortify him ROFL.

Every year I share The Three Rules of Parenting with my new students:

1. Never let your kids have any fun.
2. Always make them do the really crummy chores.
3. Embarass them in public as often as possible.

Each year kids say, "That's EXACTLY what my mom/dad does!"

I tell them parents have to sign the pledge before we get to take the new baby home.

Saucy, I'm so glad you are doing your part to uphold the fine tradition!

Seeing as how Jamie was going as a Pimp Daddy, I'm guessing something sweet and innoculous like Hello Hitty would mortify him...
