Yess'm, although your description sounds a bit cuter than the actual.

No, I just wanted to know what it was, as it kept appearing right in front of my glass patio door. Because that was where the toads hang out late at night, I had a head start toward a photographic identification.

I can confirm that bears do indeed doo-wah in the forest. I have dissected their doo-wah and confirmed that they eat berries.

One of the toads just came inside with Lizbit. I grabbed for the broom; got the mop instead. That sucker got sponged right back outside again.

The toads don't seem to mind the dogs. The dogs don't seem to be bothered by the toads.

Just like what you would expect. They would have been better in a sandwich.

[sniff] I tried to make a funny ("scat", as in Ella Fitzgerald), and nobody picked up on it. [/sniff]

Of course, now I've got all sorts of animal scat jokes running through my head. Where's that mental erase button??

I am so sorry. I'm rather literal when it comes to amphibians. And reptiles. Maybe even marsupials, except for the big, furry, cuddly ones.

Hey, even I like to whine from time to time.

It was very clever, but I am obtuse tonight.

The little frogs love our salt water pool. You should hear the noise they make and Kitty has a field day out there hunting them. They only come out after dark.

Is that the new name for your feline? El Gato didn't win?

Kitty has always been Kitty. El Gato is Missy, McCall & Payton's new feline.
Last I heard, Verace was winning, athough I'm pushing Louis (Vuitton) now.

Louis get no respect
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Some pictures were taken, but they've evidently been held prisoner by their respective photographers. I will do my best to take one tonight on my camera so that I can download it.
