RIP XP

#1 Post by gsabc » Mon Jun 30, 2008 8:53 am

Today is the last day Microsoft will sell XP to retailers and computer makers. If your new Vista OS screws up your drivers and software, tough noogies. We are Microsoft. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I'm running Vista on this new computer. So far it's been ok, but I had to take back the computer I bought on Thursday because of problems.

That doesn't mean you can't get XP on a new computer though. Dell, for example, will be selling it for many years.
