You would think, at some point, these people would recruit someone with a good command of the English language to help them write these. Might be more convincing if it was more coherent. Well, and if it didn't promise huge sums of money and didn't tell you to reply to a gmail address...

Are people still falling for these things and providing information?!?! :?

What a great idea.

Circulate an email offering to help people write emails offering money. For a small fee, of course.

"Are you a Nigerian banker with money to distribute? Can't get the response you're looking for?

"With our 12-part course, you can learn the secrets to writing an email that guarantees a cascade of personal information...."

I love capitalism.
I am about 25% sure of this.
