No, but only if you want to get inundated with PMs from 28_Year_Old_Studly_Dude.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

To which I may respond, "Hello, sailor."

Now I must go find a magnificent avatar to go with this name.

I guess it would help if I'd have signed my last message. I'm the BB formerly known as rob_wilson.

Gosh! Are all the BBs from Kentuckiana elves?

And what's the significance of your new screen name? Is it a tag line I should recognize, if I knew what game your avatar came from?

I just sent out an email with this Bored to everyone in Phoenix who I did not see registered here already.

A lot of the email addys are very old, but I figured it was worth a shot and may get a few old friends to stop by here...

There are already several very old-skool names in the list belonging to people I didn't even think were around anymore.

Then again, I've hardly looked in the GC in the last, oh, four years or so, heh.

It's nice to see some of the Old School folks turn up again.

I've started doing the same with GC members who aren't either

Here or
Phoenix members.

Talk about old e-mail addresses. It is surprising that less than 50% have been kicked back so far.

I was surprised that out of about 85 addresses I sent it to, I received only 3 rejection notices. Weasel was one of them (Anyone able to get ahold of him?)

hf_jai! Wow, it's been a long time since we've seen you around here! ("Here" being an inclusive term for all of the incarnations of the Bored.)

Thanks for dropping by, and don't be such a stranger! :)

Many email providers no longer send bounces messages. That helps to frustrate spammers because they can't tell what good addresses are.

Or I guess they just like to keep you in suspense now...

I just got an email from Yahoo with 35 rejection notices all in one!

I guess that's still not bad since it got through to about 60% of the inboxes I sent it to, but I had to sigh when I saw the list of BB's it didn't get through to.... :(

I have sent out a second email, this time using the Phoenix 2 memberlist, to anyone not in the first email, or who was rejected in the first email and had a different addy in P2....

After the message has had time to bounce, let me suggest you post a list of the folks we're still looking for. A bunch of people have showed up since the last time you posted your list -- maybe some of them can help. --Bob

Got your invite e-mail, wanted to pop in and say hi all. Although I don't watch the show anymore it's nice to see everyone still has a gathering place.
I do like this board so maybe I'll pop in more often.
So how's everyone?
