Maddie and I helped pack 1197 food boxes for the elderly today. We were in charge of the powdered milk. Some of the containers have too much air in them so it's like Tetris trying to fit them in the box.

Bless you both for doing this. Wish my mom could be the recipient of something like this.

Too bad they don't make it easier for you.

The government makes the milk. I think that it's a quality control issue with the air and the volume. Plus the food bank gets boxes donated from places like defunct wineries, so the size isn't always consistent.

Maddie likes going because Andre, the guy in charge, gives us left handed box cutters. :)

Uh.... yeah!

Our right handed box cutters are green and the left handed ones red. They introduced a new ambidextrous box cutter last year, but everyone hates it because it operates so differently from what we're used to, so we cling to our old red and green cutters.....

Right handers have no idea how left handers have to adapt to your world. I get so tired of having to use my index finger as a thumb, starting when I was a soda jerk at Walgreens.
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.
