It's also the birthday of an old girlfriend. I haven't seen her for years, but I always think about her on this day. So Happy Birthday, Tammy!

Happy Birthdays!

When did Indy and Jean Luc mention their birthdates? Or are you referring to the actors?

Geez, Beast, you're lucky mini didn't show up today!
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I thought I was smelling smoke from the forest fire, but it must have been coming from a cake in Granite City with about 33 candles on it...

Finally somebody other than me gives the birthday boy his due!

We both deserve credit towards 5 cent notebooks for all our thoughtfulness. But, since I got here yesterday, I get nibs on the college rule pallet. Ha!

We shouldn't be talking about five cent notebooks anymore when the poor citizens of the Sooner State are getting reamed (no pun intended) to the tune of 40 cents....

Still no college rule notebooks. Maybe by next payday.....

My kids' elementary school started assembling packs of school supplies in a school logo bag for 20 bucks on pre-order. I know I could get it myself for less, but I gratefully shell out for the convenience of avoiding the scavenger hunt. Plus, I would always set aside the non-school things like ziplocs and disinfecting wipes, and my m-i-l would invariably find them and raid them while she stayed at our house during our Last Blast at WDW every summer....

Belated birthdays to the birthday people. I'm lucky if I can remember my own children's on a timely basis.

33? 33? That's hardly out of pullups. Ya whelp.

Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. No cake at my house -- cherry pie! So no candles to set off the smoke alarm.

Being 50 sucks big time, but I guess it's better than the alternative.

My Cherry Pie sets off the smoke alarms!

#23 Post by CharlesFoxSingers » Mon Jul 14, 2008 9:19 am

Swingin' on the front porch
Swingin' on the lawn
Swingin' where we want
'Cause there ain't nobody home
Swingin' to the left
And swingin' to the right
If I think about baseball
I'll swing all night yea
Swingin' in the living room
Swingin' in the kitchen
Most folks don't 'cause
They're too busy bitchin'
Swingin' in there 'cause
She wanted me to feed her
So I mixed up the batter
And she licked the beater
I scream you scream
We all scream for her
Don't even try 'cause
You can't ignore her

She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water
Such a sweet surprise
Tastes so good
Make a grown man cry
Sweet cherry pie oh yea
She's my cherry pie
Put a smile on your face
Ten miles wide
Looks so good
Bring a tear to your eye
Sweet cherry pie

Swingin' to the drums
Swingin' to guitar
Swingin' to the bass
In the back of my car
Ain't got money
Ain't got no gas
But we'll get where
We're goin' if we
Swing real fast
I scream you scream
We all scream for her
Don't even try 'cause
You can't ignore her
Swing it! All night long,
Swing it!
Swing in the bathroom
Swingin' on the floor
Swingin' so hard
We forgot to lock the door
In walks her daddy
Standin' six foot four
He said you ain't gonna swing
With my daughter no more

She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water
Such a sweet surprise
Tastes so good
Make a grown man cry
Sweet cherry pie oh yea
She's my cherry pie
Put a smile on your face
Ten miles wide
Looks so good
Bring a tear to your eye
Sweet cherry pie
Sweet cherry pie

The planks are still in the shop. They're having problems with the chisels for the runes.
Not that I'm THAT much older than you are, ya whippersnapper.
Only 2 1/2 decades.

Belated birthday wishes from me as well! I hope that all of you had a groovy day!

LB - Yesterday the ...... after you said "I guess that about covers it" had me wondering if there was someone else with a birthday that you weren't mentioning. After reading the rest of the thread I realize that it was YOUR birthday too! So, are you and Sister #2 twins? I'm just curious if Sister #2, is YOUR sister #2
