OK, not really.

Anheuser-Busch sold for 50 billion dollars. According to Yahoo.

I heard this this morning. It saddens me.

Time magazine has a article in last week's issue about how folks in St. Louis were trying to stop this buy-out. They fear the new cost-cutting owners will destroy the corporate/community culture it had.

Just doesn't seem right--but you have to note the irony of people who for years complained about bland American beer now rejecting a sale to a company who makes Stella A and other pretty good beer...

...that said, I at least hope they keep Bud Light with Lime--I've been liking that this summer.

Will Busch Gardens be renamed Belgian Gardens?

Don't forget next year's All Star Game will be held at InBev Stadium.... right across the street from Lake Ballpark Village......

Sorry, I just had to have another evil laugh at the greedy Cardinals owners and stupid city officials.....

Yes, but it's a yeast culture.

No, but the German area of Bush Gardens in Williamsburg will be replaced by a Belgian one.

I don't care about the horses, I just want the watered down gnat's pee to be replaced by a beer with flavor.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

Contrarian view here:

I don't care about the beer, but I need those Clydesdales to stick around, because I need my Dalmatian commercials during every Super Bowl! What else is football for?

Let's try a compromise here.

SC gets to keep Anheuser-Busch and its Clydesdales and Rexer gets to drink a different brand that has real beer. 8)

Light beers are the only gnat's pee I know of. Regular Budweiser is real beer. And this is coming from an ex-beer drinker.

I hear they might be replaced by the nimble Belgian Blues.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

I have never been a big A/B drinker but I hate that they will no longer be an American company.

I hate that the Chrysler Building is owned now by Abu Dhabi. I suppose many landmark buildings are foreign owned, I just didn't realize it.
