Phooey.
I was inspired to tell you all about my trip to Idaho and Wyoming, but after typetypetyping, I hit submit to discover that I was no longer signed in. Every golden word was lost.
Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. If I think about it longer, maybe I can write less.

This is about to become the mantra that I drill into my students. I'll give proper credit.Ritterskoop wrote:This is the title of a seminar one of us will teach someday.silvercamaro wrote: If I think about it longer, maybe I can write less.

Break up your report into multiple parts, to avoid that timeout feature and increase your post count at the same time!

I wonder how long the window is. I can have the posting window up for upwards of 45 minutes when I'm doing the expanded rankings, and have not been timed out yet....
I know that if I leave the computer for an hour or so but do not log out, I will come back and will find myself signed out here.....

If I wait too long I might not have anything to say. But I'll always have my avatars since they're mindless.silvercamaro wrote:I was inspired to tell you all about my trip to Idaho and Wyoming, but after typetypetyping, I hit submit to discover that I was no longer signed in. I finally started doing separate replies to each quote because I got tired of doing all that work putting different people's quotes in the same post and then losing it for whatever reason.
If I've typed something lengthy, I try to remember to do a quick ctrl a, ctrl c before I post, but I don't always remember. If it's slow in posting, I'll do that really quick in case a crash in coming on.
