Phooey.

#1 Post by silvercamaro » Tue Jul 15, 2008 11:38 pm

I was inspired to tell you all about my trip to Idaho and Wyoming, but after typetypetyping, I hit submit to discover that I was no longer signed in. Every golden word was lost.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. If I think about it longer, maybe I can write less.

Nononono!

Break up your report into multiple parts, to avoid that timeout feature and increase your post count at the same time!

I write things in Word if I am writing something long.

I can run spell checker then.

Obviously, giving my normal # of mis-spellings/-typings, I don't usually do that.

That is definite aggravation. Sometimes something as simple as hitting the "back" button will bring it up again. Key word here is sometime but I always try just in case.

I wonder how long the window is. I can have the posting window up for upwards of 45 minutes when I'm doing the expanded rankings, and have not been timed out yet....

I know that if I leave the computer for an hour or so but do not log out, I will come back and will find myself signed out here.....

If I wait too long I might not have anything to say. But I'll always have my avatars since they're mindless.

I finally started doing separate replies to each quote because I got tired of doing all that work putting different people's quotes in the same post and then losing it for whatever reason.

If I've typed something lengthy, I try to remember to do a quick ctrl a, ctrl c before I post, but I don't always remember. If it's slow in posting, I'll do that really quick in case a crash in coming on.
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.

That's right! We still need to find out what happened to those tablemates who were MIA!

And the one loony tablemate who wasn't.

I thought I somehow missed the end.

Do we have a demanding MM who can demand an answer?

timeout features snark.

So does hitting mysterious "back" buttons you didn't even know were back buttons. Not being labelled as such & all.
