I did not learn this at Home School High School. I won't take my astronomy course at Yale until I finish physics. I don't know, so I have to pick a number -- 4 -- because that's the number of my feet, so it's a very nice number.

4. The Boston Cannons, Philadelphia Barrage, and Denver Outlaws are all teams in the Major League of what sport?
Lacrosse, maybe? I can't think of any other L sports, except luge, and I don't think any luge teams are named after cities, or even have a major league besides the Olympics.

1. Mount Logan is the highest mountain in what country?

Blame Canada! Blame Canada! With all their hockey hullaballoo, and that b*tch Anne Murray, too! Blame Canada!

2. The Battle of the Little Bighorn was fought between the 7th U.S. Cavalry and a combined force of Cheyenne and what other “L” Indian tribe?

Lakota Sioux?

2. How many Lagrange Points are there in the Earth-Moon system?

I think any orbiting system has several. They're the points where the pull of gravity is the same from each of the two objects orbiting each other. So there's one where the larger object, the Lagrange Point, and the smaller object are aligned in that order, one where they're aligned as LP/Large/Small, another where they're aligned Large/Small/LP, and two on either side on the orbital path of the smaller body. So that's 5.

4. The Boston Cannons, Philadelphia Barrage, and Denver Outlaws are all teams in the Major League of what sport?

Lacrosse?

Lacrosse Funny you should ask this today and put the Outlaws in there, as the Lacrosse Allstar Game (yes, there is such a thing) is in Denver tomorrow night.

Colorado is so nutty they actually have TWO lacrosse teams! The Outlaws are the outdoor one and the Colorado Mammoth are the indoor one. Have I ever seen a game? No. But I see the Mammoth merch at the Can all the time, so I feel as if I know them. Ha!

Well now, that was clever. In my zeal to post my weak attempt at humor on #4 I forgot to put in my guess.

And I know you were being silly, but I must point out that there are two lacrosse leagues, the Major one and the National one.

Outdoor v. indoor.

Outlaws v. Crush.

Bowlen v. Kroenke.

It's a battle of the ages!
Also, LFHP and I are not the same person, just the ones who enjoy the occasional ZZTop interlude. Ha!
