It appears that at least half of these nominations are for shows that can not be seen on broadcast television. How do the Emmy PTB define "television" these days? Is an internet-only show eligible to compete against a cable-only show? If not, why not? Whatever they call it, it's all just a bunch of 1s and 0s coming into your house through a wire.

I think his main problem is that for at leas the past two seasons, Jack has been overshadowed by Locke, Ben, Charlie, Desmond, Sawyer, Hurley, and Juliet.

It's hard to understand why he wasn't nominated for Seasons 1 & 2, though.
