I didn't see any of these, so I'll pick "A Raisin in the Sun" at random.macrae1234 wrote:Outstanding Made-for-TV Movie

Probably America Ferrera, but could be Tina Fey.macrae1234 wrote:Lead Actress, Comedy

Much as I love "Monk" I don't see Shalhoub bringing home an award. Carrell will probably get it.macrae1234 wrote:Lead Actor, Comedy

I'd like to see Candice Bergen win it, but it will probably go to Sandra Oh.macrae1234 wrote:Supporting Actress, Drama

Slattery might win if "Mad Men" gets the series award. But Danson or Shatner would be good choices also.macrae1234 wrote:Supporting Actor, Drama

No choice from this group.macrae1234 wrote:Supporting Actress, Comedy

It appears that at least half of these nominations are for shows that can not be seen on broadcast television. How do the Emmy PTB define "television" these days? Is an internet-only show eligible to compete against a cable-only show? If not, why not? Whatever they call it, it's all just a bunch of 1s and 0s coming into your house through a wire.

I completely agree. IMHO Michael Emerson is a genius of an actor, and his character totally commands my attention when he's on screen. He's got the creepiest eyes on TV, and he knows how to use them.TheCalvinator24 wrote:Michael Emerson deserves an Emmy for Lost. If TPTB give the Emmy to Shatner instead, I will scream.

Completely agree with Michael Emerson winning, but while were at it how come castmate Matthew Fox can't even get a nomination for lead actor? Granted he may not be deserving of a win but he certainly plays his part well and I think he qualifies for the lead actor catergory...JBillyGirl wrote:I completely agree. I think his main problem is that for at leas the past two seasons, Jack has been overshadowed by Locke, Ben, Charlie, Desmond, Sawyer, Hurley, and Juliet.clem21 wrote:Completely agree with Michael Emerson winning, but while were at it how come castmate Matthew Fox can't even get a nomination for lead actor? It's hard to understand why he wasn't nominated for Seasons 1 & 2, though.
