Don't ship books to Nigeria!

So here's what they do with your credit card number, after you give it to them to collect your inheritance!

I think they would be a little better off with electronics than books on substance abuse?!? I'm not sure what kind of resale value those actually have...

I don't understand how the merchant could be held liable for the loss if the credit card company had approved the number? What part of the security protocol had been violated by the merchant?

Yeah I'm not sure about that part. I'd be more suspicious of a money order drawn on a Nigerian bank!

Who knows though...does anyone here own a business? I wonder if the agreement with the credit card companies puts more weight on business owners to verify foreign transactions? I really don't know, that's the only thing I could guess?

Interesting.

I was reading through the comments on the article, and chuckled when I found this one:

You know it's a scam. If you haven't noticed, they
can't spell worth a hoot, And there use of proper
english is a joke. Those two should tell you something
right away.

Funny how folks who talk about "those people" in a superior way tend to be folks who can't use their own language properly.
