Pigskin Pool - Week 10

#1 Post by littlebeast13 » Thu Nov 08, 2007 3:16 am

Time to get those picks in!

For the default picks this week, I've decided to do something a bit more creative and interactive. Below are the slate of games for this weekend. Please choose a team for ONE of the games below. I will take the first team chosen for each game, and you may only pick for one game, thus making the default for this week a combination of 14 different BB's suggestions once there has been a selection from all 14 games. You do not need to be in the Pigskin Pool to choose a game...

And naturally, Merry Men need not apply..... :P

Sun Nov 11 - 1:00 Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers (Skoop)
Sun Nov 11 - 1:00 Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (TiV)

Ahem. The Matt Moores will defeat the Dirty Birds.

Bengals are beautiful creatures. Give me the striped ones over the Ravens.

Colts over the Bolts.

Despite the potential let down after yet another potentially winable game thrown away to the Pats and Bellicheat, having to go on the road and even some slight improvement by the Bolts I think the Colts will rebound here and manage a win.

Since we're in a feline mood, let's say the Lions over the Cardinals.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

There are three games left, but you can't pick again anyway....

I need 3 BB's who haven't picked a game yet....

I'll take the Dolphins over the Bills.

If we are in the Pick'em contest shouldn't we be picking upsets? It doesn't look to me like that is what most are doing.

To pick the Phins to win anything is more like picking a miracle, not an upset.

There are afew upset picks so far. Vikes, Bengals and Niners for example.

If everything was the upset pick then the default choice wouldn't do well.

Unless that was the point, to penalize 'em for defaulting.

Sadly, some of us have no idea whether we're picking an upset or a heavy favorite.

One of us, anyway.

I went for the almost sure thing... The Saints are at home and the Rams are 0-8. Of course, in the NFL, nothing is a sure thing...

Buffalo Bills over Miami Dolphins. Because Miami should never win a game.

And if that one doesn't count because aj beat me to it, I'll pick the Redskins over the Eagles. Because I grew up outside Philthadelphia. --Bob

Ok, since I don't think I've seen anyone pick it, I'll finish this thing off by picking the Chefs (great googly-moogly!) over the Broncos (with apologies to Sprots.)

Hey! You couldn't wait six minutes for me to get home and log in?

I demand that you change it to the Broncos over the Chiefs.

Thank you. :)
