Pulled from my post on the Jackie Owhoso transcript thread:
... Same goes for poor Natalie Habig. This Russian immigrant was likely not familiar with the term "embalming", and had she just been given the time to think it over, and not felt compelled to make a clock-ticking, panic-inducing bad judgement call, she most likely would have at least considered using a lifeline.
I really, really hate the clock.
On another note, what ever happened to MBFFB since the royal ream of his review of the first new show? I actually kinda miss him...

When I saw the question I thought that she would answer it with no problem. The clock caused her to panic, I think, and forced her into a bad guess.

The clock claims its first llama!
And I'm tempted to get nit-picky with this question. It's not really Lenin's Tomb that needs the embalming fluid, it's
Lenin!
Perhaps one of our BBs who've taped this season can answer this question: In past seasons, contestants have been told that they can always ask for clarification on a question that doesn't seem clear to them. Is anything said about that now? Can one stop the clock, if, as in this example, one was confused about the tomb vs. the body?

You can ask but the clock stops for no one other then in the midst of a lifeline.

So, essentially, that right is now useless, since you'd barely have time to ask the question at this level, much less get an answer from Mr. Davies. Maybe you could
hope that TPTB might take pity on your appeal, after the clock runs out and you're forced to walk away with $500.
