I knew this because of Jake's initial contact at the bookstore with Mr. Tower in The Drawing of the Three. Mr. Tower says that Jake is on French leave on such a fine spring day, or something like that. He call him a "hyperborean wanderer."

WE/WE, without a doubt! His IMDb page only includes a couple credits, but his personal web page is very impressive.

Another WWOQ. The Littlest Groom sounds unlikely if you're thinking about "little" as a synonym for children, but I had a hunch it had to do with modern TV's fascination with little people (a.k.a. dwarfs). And my hunch was right, but to make this choice even tougher, it ran for only two episodes on Fox, back in 2004.

And while I'm checking Wikipedia, let's see what it says about the others. Farmer Wants A Wife had eight episodes on The CW, in 2008, but it also had a number of international versions. Maybe Esto has seen the Maamees otsib naist version.

Amish in the City was the big hit of the group, with nine episodes on UPN, in 2004. I can't recall for sure, but I also think it might have achieved fame here on the Bored for inspiring the MM, Emily Rumspringa. :P

I can see why TPTB picked him - he was quite personable and engaging.

I've heard of the first two. From the comfort of my recliner I guessed correctly but at the Hot Podium I'd have used ATA also.

This "coincidence" occurred several times.
