I'd have used a JTQ. Why didn't Charles even consider using a lifeline? He must have thought he knew something.

This baffled me, too. Maybe because Bjork and lark both end with "rk"? That's the best I can come up with.

Maybe Charles hasn't heard of the singer Bjork. The meadowlark is the only choice that can sing.
