#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Nov 07, 2008 9:42 pm

Neil Young's birthday is next Wednesday. Sixty-something....

Place in chronologic order these Neil Young albums

1 - After the Gold Rush
2 - American Stars's'Bars
3 - Harvest
4 - Landing on Water.

1 then 3 for sure, then 2 then 4 I think.

Thanks for the attempt, etaoin. I think everyone else must be at a party that we didn't get invited to. Prom Night maybe, and me dateless. Seems like old times.

1,3,2,4.

as says the great T-Bone absolutely correctly.

And I forget whose gaming principle it was for a FF style of chronologic list, the one you have never heard of is either first or last.

so: After the Gold Rush; Harvest; American Stars'n'Bars; Landing on Water.

ASB is mid-seventies and is notable mostly for Like A Hurricane. LoW is mid-eighties, bizarre, may have been a contractual obligation album, title may refer back a decade to some stoned stream of consciousness stuff on an insert to Tonight's The Night (Hello, Waterface! and so on,(only gets better) which refers to that album as plane crash album) but on vinyl LoW has a really nice cover
