Pussy Galore (That's lit-er-a-choor. There's nothing wrong with quoting lit-er-a-choor.)
Made me laugh!

G - Some time fairly recently, the ScottiesTournament of Hearts was held to decide the womens' Canadian championship in this sport.

HURRY, One of these questions is HARD, HARD, HAAAARD.

Okay, so I realize there's a clue in there. Darned if I know what it means.
Somehow, I feel so much smarter now.

Q5 - AS WE WERE SO RUDELY INTERRUPTED, , ON A ONE-WAY TICKET

B - This "Joe" comic strip lead character, is also a name used to refer disparagingly to a relatively anonymous and rough-hewn
prizefighter up against a much more skilled opponent.

G - This comic strip lead character married her lover, who needed that famous rare black orchid serum from Africa to perform, (I mean to live),
but he soon after took what turned out to be a one-way ticket to that continent. At least, its been about 30 years now....

Very funny to watch myself panic, like I am 'on the clock' and can't come up with an answer when I am really not!

I would be a great lab rat for someone to study.

"Purses" comes from one of my all-time favorite FNGD's, when Beebs and I got on a roll, playing "James Bronk" and "Purses Galore". Beebs was killin' me and I have to give myself some credit, I thought I was fairly amusing myself that night. I do recall laughing loudly and often.
