I am a good dad.

My son just got home from work.

I gave him my last two Cheddar Bay bicuits.

He may look like a cross between Grizzly Adams and Meat Loaf now, but he still has those puppydog eyes that he had as a 6 year-old. I couldn't turn him down.

I woulda armwrestled him for 'em if I'd been there. :D

Sounds like his son may have won the arm wrestling thing!

I would have swallowed the last two quick, when I heard his car in the driveway.

(I have two sons. I had to learn to survive.) :D

Yes, but he woulda stomped me flat (figuratively, of course) and then given me one of 'em out of pity.

Not having puppy dog eyes, myself.

Well, I'm sure he would've split 'em with you. He did offer to break the second one in half, but I told himj to go ahead and scarf it. He is a growing boy, y'know.

And growing..
And growing..
And growing..

6'1", 250 lbs.
He'll turn 23 in about 3 weeks.

He is our "upstairs tenant" (actually, his room is upstairs in a conveted attic. He works and pays rent and continues to make life "interesting". Still likes to give me "the business" but when push comes to shove he comes through for me).

You could have given him a beer. :)

He's more of a Captain Morgan man, actually! But we had neither beer nor the good Captain in stock.

Those who knew me some 30 years ago would be shellshocked to read that. But, 'tis true. Right now the only imbibables we have in supply is a half-full "Orange Dream" mix leftover from New Years Eve that I'm too lazy to throw in the blender w/ice.

Hmm..I have the week off next week. Perhaps then.

And now, it's off to bed. I mean it this time.
