Trotters. IIRC, a horse named Hambletonian was the greatest trotting champion ever, so they named the race after him.

I'm just stalling because I'm going to have to guess on the second Q. I'll guess Wellington.

This includes another question that Annie would have answered better than I did. She says she's embarrassed for me.

If she's embarrassed for YOU, then she's undoubtedly laughing hysterically at me..

Lady Hamilton with a sock puppet is a good idea.

Maybe I thought too much.....

Hambletonian is for trotters.

Harness racing in Montreal just died three weeks ago. Nobody noticed.

Lady Hamilton was for Nelson. The eventual victorious Admiral at Trafalgar, who died, but beat the dastardly French Navy and made the North Atlantic safe for a century until the Titanic.

I am going to call a tie coming around the backstretch....

As Annie reminded me, Lady Hamilton was a character in a funny book called "Something Rotten" by Jasper Fforde. In a series of Fforde books, fictional characters and/or historical figures can, under certain circumstances, rewrite their stories and history.

Lady Hamilton chose to hook up with Hamlet.
