B - Youppi (Expos' mascot) wore a hairpiece and danced on top of the dugout, with the song best associated with this cultural chameleon, in the early eighties.

nah...

By the way, Youppi has moved over to the Montreal Canadiens and is thinner now.

In the day for a while, Youppi! was right up with the Phillie Phanatic as popular baseball mascots.

oh, and IIRC, the players got p**ed off after a while, with the amount of dancing on top of the dugout.

Maybe I could aspire to a second career as Youppi II. I could make a lot of noise on dugout rooftops!
