You're not the only one. I just saw "chronological order" and went forth.

On a different non sequitur topic, I watched fencing on one of the non-network cable channels. It was pretty interesting, I thought. I would like to try that, although there's no place around here to do so.

Equestrian provides many more opportunities in this neck of the woods.

I just heard a bit of this, but think Dara alerted the judges that one of the swimmers was having a wardrobe malfunction with the fancy suits. They held the start just a moment so the racer could "fix things", and participate. She's being credited for good sportsmanship.

And now she's being credited with beating the wetsuit off swimmers 1/2 her age!

I'm not sure to what you're referring. I know all the other swimmers think she's rather elderly, being 40-ish, and all. I'm delighted she just showed them what the elderly can do.

If she's elderly, I've got one foot in the grave!

I think it means Sliver's Vacuous Platitudes.

I was clearly mistaken.

This makes much more sense!

Why, thank you, Ules. How did you know that? Yes, I've had the Dyson out all day, vacuing like crazy. Obviously, I only vacu the platitudes, because I live in a one-story house, so I don't have any altitudes.

But did you do the plates?

The plates are in the dishwasher. I keep the plats on the floor.

Annie does the plates.
