I hadn't heard before that Hamas planned to strike all the way to the West Bank. Remember, distances in Israel are painfully short, but the music festival acted as a tactical sink (with strategic implications) for Hamas fighters as there were so many young women there that it stopped many of them there to do their stuff.
I was immediately reminded of the Confederates at Shiloh who were sidetracked as they got into the Union camps and started looting them for supplies thus likely affecting the rest of the battle.
I haven't listened to all of it-but I am at the part where he is talking about the renewed fighting at Al-Shifa Hospital in the last few days and he says the IDF set a trap there to draw Hamas fighters back there and as I heard on earlier newscasts they have since killed and captured hundreds of Hamas there.
