FNGD Q4 - FRI FEB 20 - SPOONERISMS

#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Feb 20, 2009 10:19 pm

B - Which cartoon character repeatedly announced the start of the "Norts Spews"?

G - I dunno why I called this "G", but anyhow...

The 1950's were strange times. IT was thought the height of sophistication to listen to Kermit Schaefer's comedy albums about mistakes made by radio and TV personnel. Sorta like the radio actress who was SUPPOSED to go to the station and get "Two tickets to Pittsburgh". Error. Massive hilarity. Why, I dunno.

What name did Schaefer coin for these fluffs? (as in the phrase Pardon My _________).

B-Porky Pig?

G-Bloopers. My favorite was the guy who was gonna take a leak out the window to see if it was freezing outside. Or the guy who said "Mr. Playbody will now pee for you".

Of course, Mr. T-Bone, do you remembe yourself with anything memorable on the air only because you said it wrongly?
