The Crybully Mob in Portland

#1 Post by Spock » Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:38 am

From what I have seen, the anti-Trump mob has probably been the most violent in Portland. Breaking shit and stuff. The funny thing is that they are breaking stuff that belongs to people who think exactly the same of Trump as they do.

Jeez, why don't they drive to Pendleton, Ore and start breaking shit there. Oh, I forgot, they don't have cars.

Given the crybully response of the Left since the election, probably not one Trump voter regrets his/her vote.

And the Pendleton folks likely are armed and will defend their stuff, rightly so.

Actually, Spock, those of us in cities with peaceful protests consider it our First Amendment right of peaceful assembly. And we enjoy exercising that right.

And we will exercise it until the anti-Semitic racist mofo Steve Bannon and his orange shirts come and take us to camps, ripping up the Constitution as they do it.

But the protesters are protesting the Constitution, un-constitutionally in some cases.

But, whatever.

Actually, BiT, some of us are protesting less against the election results and more against the rise in anti-Semitic and racist rhetoric that Tuesday has wrought. At least here.

But, whatever.

What do you consider "peaceful?" Does that include only legal activities?

EVERYTHING to that man is viewed from a racial perspective. Race relations in this country are as bad as they've been in decades. That is his legacy. Don't blame Trump.

The swastikas carved into steps and keyed into cars in South Philadelphia were not there in 2009.

They were there this week.

And with that, I am done this conversation.

Peaceful protest is absolutely fine. Breaking shit is not.

However, when you break shit that belongs to people who almost surely feel exactly the same way about Trump as you do-It really is kind of funny.

Every President has commented on matters from a racial viewpoint. The difference is that all the other Presidents commented from a white viewpoint and many other whites didn't see anything unusual or objectionable about that. Obama is the first President to comment on matters from a black viewpoint and a lot of conservatives are somehow shocked to discover that not everyone thinks like them.

It would be interesting to keep track of all the reported hate crimes in this period and see how many of them turn out to be fake over time. It is almost a cliche for a SJW(Social Justice Warrior) to find a noose hanging outside her dorm room and everybody gathers to support her, but upon investigation, a few weeks later, it turns out she put the noose there herself.

South Philly, really, is a hotbed of nazi support?

If you are correct, he did not sweep it up to clean it up. He sweep the dirt and dust into the air, into the nostrils and eyes of everyone making everyone sick.

I never said there were no racial issues or problems, just that it is now worse rather than better. We've moved backwards 4 decades.

Maybe the epidemic of hate crimes isn't quite what it is presented to be when 2 college kids from a neighboring college driving through Wellesley with a Trump sign is NATIONAL Frickin' news for days.

20-YO Wellesley kids are reportedly scarred by the incident.

And you guys wonder why you lost the election.

In other news , 20 YO MEN who died on Omaha Beach are rolling over in their graves.
