10K: I'd cut it too, if I had a cut

20K: Gag. Oh, that isn't a choice. Its almost easier to rule choices out, like only 3 "A"s & they're not 6th. I don't think. +1

50K: Hard to figure out what they're even asking. Cal is most populous, least pop is going to be Wyoming, Dakotas, Montana?

Prolly C? 50/50 to see if left.

Wow. We're at 7 and a half already? Seems like we just crossed 7 a little bit ago.

If you know number six or number eight, you're home.
$50,000

A: Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota B: Oklahoma & Kansas
C: Nevada, Utah, and Colorado D: Idaho & Montana
If you know Cali is the most populous state, it can only be C. All roads have to go through Nevada. I'm surprised something like "Massachusetts & Connecticut" wasn't up there to trick a New York connection.

I don't think your reasoning is accurate here. The question doesn't specify that the drive goes through those states and no others. --Bob

Uff-da. If that wound up being the case, especially during a Whiz Kids Week, there'd be a social media firestorm over it. Just like the "Emanciptation Proclamation" kid on Jeopardy.
