The American Revolution started today...

Why don't we have a national holiday?

Well at least it is a state holiday in Massachusetts (Patriots' Day)

22 years ago today, the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was bombed by home-grown terrorists. :cry:

Today, April 20, is Hitler's birthday. My aunt once caught a glimpse of Hitler in a birthday parade; April 20 was her birthday too. In 1943, the SS commander in Warsaw decided to liquidate the Warsaw Ghetto as a birthday present for Hitler. To his surprise, the Ghetto partisans held out for weeks. I don't know whether the other atrocities on April 19 & 20 (Waco, Oklahoma City, Columbine) were intended to"honor" Hitler or just horrible coincidences.
