Also coming to TBS:
The comedy-centric cable network is also planning Miracle Workers, a workplace comedy set in heaven starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) as an angel and Owen Wilson as God, his boss, that is executive-produced by Lorne Michaels. The seven-episode series, due in 2018, was created by Simon Rich (Man Seeking Woman) and is based on his book What in God's Name.

Actually, Snoop is about the only rapper that entertains me at all. He might work out or he might flame out. We will see.

I believe that if this show sucks less than the 1990-91 revival of The Joker's Wild, I'll consider this new version a success.

The description of the new format, though, is a bit unsettling to me. Like the Pat Finn version of TJW, this new version might stray too far from the classic format to hold the attention of both diehard game show fans and younger viewers. It would be like nominating the third wife of a serial adulterer to be ambassador to Vatican City. No thought or care put into the decision whatsoever.
