Austin Rogers J!

Haven't seen a thread on him. This is something we can argue about and not go ballistic!

I like him.
Well, then

You just had to say something today, didn't you.

I loved his enthusiasm for her. Very good response. I enjoyed his journey. Seemed like a nice guy all around.

I agree, I sensed a total attitude of 'Wow, it was great playing against you and you totally deserved the win!" From the spontaneous high five to his body language and the post-game interactions with Scarlett (although we couldn't hear what they were talking about). I enjoyed watching Austin's run and I think how he reacted to his loss showed that he is well grounded and really enjoyed the spirit of the game - not a trace of "I can't believe I lost' or any sense of disappointment or self pity.

I just saw on youTube his appearance on the Tonight Show, and he was generally funny and seemed to have the right attitude about the whole experience. I tend to FF over the interview sections, so I don't know if he ever brought it up (or if his run lasted longer he would have brought it up) - but I guess Jimmy Fallon used to occasionally go to his bar and they seemed to have some sort of friendship or at a least a friendly relationship, but he didn't seem to trade in on that during his Jeopardy! run.

Scarlett wasn't around long enough to smoke a cyberial cigar. Friday's Final Jeopardy answer was about a river in Laos, and one of the challengers was a Navy lieutenant.

FJ was about a river anyone who lived through the Vietnam era knows. The lady who beat Austin isn't that old.
