Bombings in Austin

#1 Post by BackInTex » Mon Mar 12, 2018 12:46 pm

I was not aware of the March 2 bombing that killed a 39 year-old man, but today there have been two. The first one killed a 17 year-old male and inured his mother. The second one injured a woman in her 70's.

Police are not calling them hate crimes, but all victims are black. They are saying that they "are not ruling out it being a hate crime".

The police suspect the bombings are related but no evidence other than similar methods, leaving a package on the doorstep (not left by USPS or other known mail service). The three locations are fairly far apart from each other.

Yikes. Hope they catch him/them soon. It's escalating.

Jessie (aka vamomof3) moved there a few years ago, as her friend Gov. Goodhair will attest to...

Police have now confirmed all three bombings are related. The families are connected. How I don't know exactly how but the step-father of the man killed last week is friends or an acquaintance with the grandfather of the 17 year-old killed (3rd bombing) yesterday. Don't know which one, or if both, knows the family of the 2nd bombing.

This is sounding much more like the work of a sicko with a personal grudge than either a random serial bomber or a hate crime.

The bomber was a 23-year-old white man. His real name doesn't matter, but when he sent his last package bomb at FedEx he used the alias Kelly Killmore. He was no moron, so I suppose he was taunting the police.

Has there been any discussion as to motive?

Yes, nothing is proven yet, but all the victims were Black or Hispanic.

No they weren't. As usual, your desire and hope for some political/moral/racial posturing falls flat.

This guy is neither black or Hispanic. Just a random guy who was injured.

BTW, it took me all of about 1 minute to find this....because I'm more interested in the truth than stirring a political pot.

But was he the intended victim?

I don't know. You don't know. But your statement in regards to a discussion as to motive was "Yes, nothing is proven yet, but all the victims were Black or Hispanic.". While "Yes" is correct because there has been discussion of motive, and "nothing is proven yet" is also correct. However, "all the victims were Black or Hispanic" is flat wrong, and week old "news". It doesn't matter who was the "intended" victim because the actual victims were neither black nor Hispanic. And given the random nature of FedEx employees, I doubt there was a specific intended victim for those bombs as well.

Sorry, you'll have to wait for a different madman for your political play.

O.K. The actual victims were not all black or Hispanic. Back to your original wrongness.

It's coming out that he was a member of a group called Righteous Invasion of Truth (RIOT) that trained its members in gun use and the bible.

Also, his "hit list" was found. I wonder what the racial makeup of those on the list is.
