You're mistaken. It was original. But FM never had a song named landside.
Somebody better inform the band.

BiT noticed that BJ misspelled the word Landslide. Although isn't it ironic(wrong artist) that BiT was the first one to be unoriginal when he re-used The Chain...

No, it was the right artist, but a typo.

Is it just me, or did this thread get even funnier on the second page?

Reached for comment on Monday Morning, Buckingham said:

Mike Campbell is a fine guitarist, and I love much of Neil Finn's work with Split Enz, Crowded House and his brother Tim, but Buckingham is/was my favorite Mac member. I do understand he can be touchy to work with, an eccentric artist type, but his pop sensitivities and creativity are very difficult to replace.

Oh, I agree. He's probably the least replaceable member of the group. I didn't mean that Campbell & Finn would be able to replace him. I just meant that, having blown them off with the loss of LB, I was intrigued by the new touring members named, especially Neil Finn. That dude can sing anything. Curiously, he's quite the guitarist his ownself, so I'm not sure why they added both of them.

Here's a story about how the Neil Finn aspect came to be:

Like a lot of CrowdedHouse, LOVE Split Enz. Some great pop chops. "I Got You" shoulda been a megahit. Hell, the "True Colours" album is close to perfecto.
